PSA World Series Finals
The PSA World Series Finals is the end of season championship of the PSA World Tour of male professional squash players. The top 8 players in the PSA World Series qualify for the event. The 8 players compete in 2 groups of 4 and play a round robin [1] to determine the semi-finalists. The competition then becomes a knock-out competition to determine the PSA World Series Finals champion. The event has been staged since 1993 in Zurich, Hatfield, London and Manchester and then London again.[2] The event has prize money of $110,000. The 2010 final between Nick Matthew and Amr Shabana had to be cancelled due to a problem with the venue.[3]
